A double finance major from USA, Kartik specialises in market timing by analysing price action over multiple time-frame charts for, both, short term trading and longer term investing. He joined Sharekhan Education in 2012 with an aim to influence and nurture budding traders with his own learnings and experience as a trader.

His single mantra to successful trading is adhering to the principles of risk management. "The reason so many people fail in trading is because they cannot give up on their ego. Ideally, you should keep losses small to put the law of probability on your side," he says.

As EdTech head of Sharekhan Education, Kartik has developed multiple algorithms to make traders decision making, rule based and simple.
