A double finance major, Behzad specialises in market timing by analysing price action over multiple time-frame charts for, both, short term trading and longer term investing. He joined Sharekhan Education in 2012 with an aim to influence and nurture budding traders with his own learnings and experience as a trader.

His single mantra to successful trading is adhering to the principles of risk management. “The reason so many people fail in trading is because they cannot give up on their ego. Ideally, you should keep losses small to put the law of probability on your side,” he says.

True to his belief, Behzad spends a lot of time training students on how to place the right stop losses as he believes that a wrong stop loss could, more often than not, get triggered and stop you out too early.
